Our action in faith
A good man draws good things from his store of goodness; a bad man
draws bad things from his store of badness ..My reflection here ..desire to good deed
through our mind and soul ...as a follower of Christ ..we understand why people become a
bad guy ..in world ..we learn forgive them if they do bad to you ..Jesus Christ ,our Lord
Saviour in reading of Gospel John ,John 15 : 18 -21 ,Jesus said to his disciple ",if the world
hate you ,know that it hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world ,the world
would love its own;but because you re not of the world ,but I chose you out of the world.
therefore the world hates you ,remember the word that I said to you :A servant is not greater
than master ,if they persecuted me ,they will persecuted you ,if they kept my kept my word ,
they will keep yours also .But all this they will do to you on my account ,because they do not
know him who sent me"
From the Gospel ,we know that Jesus foretells persecutions ,born of hatred, for his followers.He himself was to suffer persecutions .The early Church had its full share of persecutions . But the followers of Christ kept their faith alive ; They rejoiced that they were found worthy to suffer for Christ 's sake..Every wave of persecutions was followed by the strengthening of the Church and increase of numbers.The Church of Christ is not free from persecutions even today.But Christ never abandons her.He is close her ,strengthening and comforting her when her children undergo suffering for the sake of this name. How do I respond to persecutions ? Am I willing to suffer for the sake of Jesus ?
